Whether from long hours of sitting, years of practice, or simply not knowing how your hips are designed to move — these are the frustrations we hear again and again.
"My hips feel stuck."
Certain postures feel restricted, and stretching alone doesn't seem to create lasting change.
"I'm afraid of injury."
You want to go deeper in hip openers, but you're unsure how to do it safely for your body.
"I don't understand my body."
You'd love to know the "why" behind each pose — how your hips actually move and what supports them.
The Workshop
A Deep Dive Into How Your Hips Are Designed to Move
Join us for a two-hour educational yoga workshop focused on building healthy hips through strength, mobility, and body awareness.
Together we'll explore the anatomy and mechanics of the hip joint, learn how to strengthen the muscles that support healthy movement, and discover why strength is the foundation of lasting flexibility.
You'll also be introduced to the role of the pelvic floor (Mula Bandha) and how it supports stability, balance, and ease in your yoga practice.
"Combining discussion, movement, and hands-on exploration — practical tools you can immediately apply both on and off the mat."
Is this workshop for beginners or experienced students?
Both! This workshop is designed for yoga students of all levels. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, you'll gain valuable insights into how your hips are designed to move.
I have tight hips — will I be able to keep up?
Absolutely. This workshop is specifically designed to meet you where you are. We'll offer modifications, and the goal is education and awareness — not achieving a perfect pose.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing, water, and an open mind. Mats and props are available at the studio if you need them. Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
What is Mula Bandha and why is it included?
Mula Bandha refers to the mindful engagement of the pelvic floor. It plays a key role in stability, balance, and support during yoga. We'll offer a gentle, accessible introduction so you can begin exploring it in your own practice.
What's your refund policy?
