You're not alone. Many students step onto the mat with the same quiet worries — and they're exactly what this workshop is designed to address.
"Am I doing this right?"
You glance around the room, second-guessing your alignment, wondering if you're getting the full benefit of each pose.
"This doesn't feel good in my body."
Certain poses cause discomfort, and you're not sure how to adapt them to actually feel supportive instead of strained.
"I'm not flexible enough."
You've held back from yoga — or from going deeper — because you think your body needs to look a certain way first. It doesn't.
The Solution
Yoga That Adapts to You — Not the Other Way Around
In this supportive two-hour workshop, Suzi and Mallory will guide you through the alignment foundations of the common yoga poses you'll find in any class.
We'll slow down, break things apart, explore modifications, and answer your questions — so you leave feeling confident, capable, and connected to your practice in a whole new way.
🌿
"It's not about achieving the perfect pose. It's about developing awareness, connection, and a practice that works for your unique body."
Suzi and Mallory are passionate about helping students understand the "why" behind every pose. With years of teaching experience and a deep love for accessible yoga, they create a warm, encouraging space where questions are welcomed and every body belongs.
Through personalized guidance, alignment education, and practical modifications, they empower students to approach yoga with greater confidence, safety, and ease.
"We believe yoga should adapt to the individual — not the other way around. Come as you are. Leave empowered."
Your Questions, Answered
Common Hesitations
If you've been on the fence, you're in great company. Here's what we hear most often.
"I'm not flexible enough for yoga."
Flexibility is a result of yoga, not a requirement for it. This workshop meets you exactly where you are — tight hamstrings, stiff hips, and all. You'll leave with practical modifications and a deeper understanding of how to work with your body.
"I've never done yoga before."
Perfect — this is exactly the workshop for you. No prior experience is required. We'll walk through the fundamentals together at a thoughtful, accessible pace, and there will be plenty of time for questions.
"I'm worried I'll do the poses wrong."
That's exactly why this workshop exists. With small group sizes and hands-on guidance, Suzi and Mallory will help you feel each pose correctly in your own body — no judgment, no comparison, just supportive learning.
"I have injuries or limitations."
All bodies are welcome. We'll offer modifications throughout the workshop and you're encouraged to share anything you'd like us to know so we can support you personally. Yoga adapts to you.
"I've been practicing for years. Is this still for me?"
Absolutely. Even experienced students discover new insights when they slow down and revisit the foundations. Refining the basics often creates the biggest breakthroughs in a long-term practice.
"What should I bring?"
Just yourself, comfortable clothing, water, and an open mind. Mats and props are available at the studio if you need them. Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
