Beaver Full Moon Ceremony
With Golden Touch Kit

The Beaver Full Moon, typically occurring in November, is the final full moon before winter. Its name originates from Native American traditions, marking a time when beavers prepare for winter by building their lodges, reminding us of the importance of preparation and building a secure foundation.

Description
This year’s Beaver Full Moon falls in the intense, transformational energy of Taurus (or occasionally Gemini, depending on the exact date), which blends practicality with themes of security and abundance. As the trees shed their last leaves and the air grows crisp, this full moon invites us to reflect on what we need to release and conserve to move through the winter season with inner strength and focus. This moon is about preparation, grounding, and creating a nurturing environment to carry us into the next cycle.

Intention
The intention for this full moon is to honor your journey throughout the year, focusing on grounding and self-care. Embrace intentions like letting go of lingering habits, grounding yourself in routines that serve you, and welcoming abundance and security. This is a time to settle down, complete unfinished projects, and create an environment that supports your goals for the colder months.
Set intentions around:
  • Releasing what no longer serves you
  • Creating security and stability
  • Honoring and conserving your energy
  • Fostering routines that nurture growth and healing
Spiritual Significance
Spiritually, the Beaver Full Moon embodies themes of resourcefulness, preparation, and perseverance. As we approach the winter solstice, it encourages a period of introspection, grounding, and mindful stewardship of our energy and resources. This moon invites us to build stability in our lives, not by rushing toward new beginnings, but by appreciating and reinforcing what we have.
Tuning into the Beaver Full Moon’s energy can bring insight into areas where we may need more structure or discipline, and where we can find gratitude for the support systems already in place. It reminds us to approach life with patience, steady intention, and readiness to embrace cycles of rest and rejuvenation.

Take some time to either journal or just sit in reflection about your year so far, where have you been overusing your resources, what you need to let go of, and what you need to focus on as you prepare for the closing of 2024.

Essential oils…

We are going to prepare the physical body and emotional body for this upcoming beaver moon.
Essential oils are a great asset to your overall health and wellness.  When we apply essential oils they are easily able to target the cells and body systems that will most benefit from their healing properties.
Essential oils are the life blood of the plant and with their molecules being so small they are easily able to pass through the cell walls.

Young Living’s essential oils are extra special because of the love, care, and intention put into each of the farms Young Living owns and parterns with, the distillation practices, and the science put into each drop.
This evening we will be using the Golden Touch Kit that has 7 oils developed to help prepare the body for this upcoming winter season that most people usually find themselves coming down with colds.

Along with the physical healing benefits, each oil holds an emotional benefit to help you heal and process emotions held in the body.  The psychosomatic connection runs deep and so often issues within the physical body can be traced back to unhealed or processed emotions that get trapped in the body.

There are 3 main ways to use oils:

  • topically
  • aromatically
  • internally
For this protocol we will be applying topically.

Mallory is proud to be a Brand Partner with Young Living and offer you continuing essential oil education when you join her Young Living team.  By using her links below you will be added to the Oily Love Team’s online platform where you will be able to access to all of her essential oil infused yoga flows and additional natural living education.

HI THERE FRIEND, I'M MALLORY!

Thanks so much for stoping by my little space here on the web and listening to my story!  I can't wait to teach you everything I've learned over the years.

My biggest lesson has definitely been being a mom and it's still something I learn to navigate every day. As it turns out these little humans have a mind of their own, know what they want, and aren't afraid to whine at you until they get it, do ya feel me?  In Ashtanga Yoga we call parenting 7th series because it is the hardest practice of them all.  Now, I don't have a whole lot of parenting answers for you (still figuring all that out myself), but I can help with keeping your kids healthy! We want healthy kids because healthy kids are just happier kids and mama I know you want your kid to be happy just like I do.

When we first brought our son Eero home, I just felt lost.  He was colicky, gassy, had a serve case of torticollis, and was just an all around unhappy baby. Being a first time mom and confronted with all of this was HARD and compounded by my own emotional issues lead to my PPD.  The first 6 months of Eero's life was full of a lot of tears from both of us.

Then his first REAL cold hit and fever hit.  I didn't feel prepared and didn't know what to do to help him.  Everyone just kept telling me, oh just use Infant Tylenol and Ibuprofen, this just didn't sit right with me.  I knew all I was doing was masking the symptoms and not actually helping his body to heal.  My baby was in pain and I wanted to do everything I could to help his body be strong and fight. This lead me down a path of diving into natural remedies, learning how the body works, and ultimately empowered me as a mother to care for my babies.

Now I know what to do keep my babies healthy and I also have an abundance of tools to turn to when they are under the weather.  I know longer have that panicked feeling when Eero or Emma spike a fever, I know exactly what to and it is my mission to help every mama feel confident in taking care of their families. There is truly so much we can do when we understand how the body works, even in simple terms and I can't wait to share it all with you!

I'm here for you, through the up and downs, tears and smiles, I will be here to help uplift and encourage you. Know you are not alone, in fact there is a whole community of mamas waiting for you to join us and go against the status quo.  Our bodies are meant for health and our lives are meant for abundance.
